Ukulele Player New York
Ukulele Player, vocalist, steel guitar and 6- and 12-string guitar player Josh Cho has delighted audiences and brides from all across the New York City region with his unique brand of Polynesian inspired music.
His renditions of classics like Somewhere Over the Rainbow / What A Wonderful World is a popular selection from brides who wish to make their ceremonies truly wonderful and leave a lasting memory to all who witnessed the event.
Josh and his Hawaiian Dreams Band took to the road during summer 2009, headlining at the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, CT, to a crowd of 3,000.
Venturing further out into the Northeast region, Josh did his usual share of New Jersey shore weddings, but also performed for the first time in Newport, Rhode Island, at the exclusive Belle Mer. Aside from Hawaiian music where the ukulele has its natural home, Josh has arranged many classical music pieces by great composers such as Bach, Pachelbel, Mendelsohn, Albinoni and Wagner.
Add to this list many jazz standards and popular songs, and you'll soon begin to realize Josh's mission of bringing the ukulele into a more meaningful context within world music.
