When I Fall In Love is one of those jazz standards whose melody has always stuck in my ears.
I've always loved the song but never spent the time to see if it fit the ukulele.
When designing a program for an upcoming wedding, I decided to add this to the setlist as guests were being seated.
Like almost every jazz standard to date, it fits perfectly on the uke--in this instance the key of A-flat for the instrumental.
If I were to sing the song, I'd use E-flat, it better suits my voice.
The lyrics and message are perfect for wedding ceremonies, rehearsal dinners, cocktail hours and anything wedding related.
The following mp3 demo clip features solo ukulele with a full band playing jazz style with bass, acoustic guitar and drums using brushes.
